In this day and age, daily life is extremely hectic. People are working around the clock, taking care of the kids, and don’t have time to squeeze in a workout. But there are ways you can incorporate exercise into your day without having to go to the gym. By doing little exercises throughout the day wherever you can: in the kitchen, in your car, while you brush your teeth, or while you’re sitting at your computer — you’ll keep the oxygen flowing and stretch and tone your muscles. Here are 5 simple ways to exercise during a busy day.

One station earlier

Walking is a great way of exercise and a great way to start your day. Parking your car one block away from the office, getting off one station before yours will give you some extra walking time. Walking even a short distance will help lower your chances of weight gain, burn extra calories, and help you burn off some steam. The fresh air will make you start your day in a more positive note while burning off some fat.

Take the stairs

Take the stairs instead of the elevator at work is the right way to go, Taking the stairs is one of the best exercises you can do. It will help you build muscle mass while also burning extra calories. 

While on the phone

If you have many work calls during the day. Get up and walk around the office while you are doing them. This will help you sneak in some cardio and lose some calories while doing your daily work.

Tuck that tummy in

Another way to burn the fat is to squeeze in your stomach, this can help make your abs stronger and strengthen your posture. Tacking in your tummy will make you look thinner and taller and will make your body stronger. You can tack that tummy in while you are in a meeting, seating in your office writing an email or just walking around, it all counts!

While cleaning

Doing your household chores is not always fun, it can take up a lot of your time but you can take advantage of this must do to squeeze in some workout. Just sweep faster, scrub your dishes harder, add in some jumping jacks in between, carry laundry upstairs, vacuum faster, make your bed all while you are burning off some calories.
